Extra Space Asia is seeking a dynamic and commercially-driven Head of Technology to oversee IT-related matters for Extra Space Asia Group in Singapore, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Malaysia. This role will be critical in managing the IT infrastructure, ensuring data security, and driving technological innovation and capabilities towards self-storage sales and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy & Innovation – Collaborate with management to develop and implement a long-term technology roadmap that enhances efficiency, sales, and data automation.
• Opportunity Identification & Proposal Development – Identify and advocate for innovative technological solutions through well-structured business and technical proposals.
• IT Architecture & AI Integration – Lead the design and architecture of IT systems, including integrations, data strategy, compliance, and AI and Machine Learning capabilities for self-storage operations.
• IT Policies & Security – Establish and operationalize IT policies covering security, disaster recovery, operations, and support.
• Infrastructure & Cross-Functional Collaboration – Analyse and improve IT infrastructure, while effectively working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with proven experience in senior IT management.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor management.
• Experience in business continuity planning and risk management.
• Ability to lead, manage, and develop teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
